description |

These matcha bowls were inspired by the feelings of longing for when times seemed so much simpler. These bowls sought to capture the feeling of wanting to go back home and being home - whatever home may mean - and the comfort/warmth that those memories bring.

This matcha bowl was hand thrown on the wheel with high fire clay (porcelain and stoneware blend). The porcelain blend allows for a smoother surface and creates a more durable piece than stoneware alone. This bowl was then fired twice - once in a bisque fire and another in a glaze fire.

The chubby acorn whisk holder was meticulously hand-carved. It is glazed on the inside as well + has a hole on the bottom.

You will receive both the matcha bowl and whisk holder pictured!

All illustrations and details were meticulously painted by hand with lots of love & nostalgia, and is one of its kind. <3

dimensions |

The matcha bowl measures approximately 4.45" wide and 3" in height.

The whisk holder measures approximately 2.35" tall.

| please note |

All photos have been taken in natural lighting (indirect and/or direct sunlight) in an effort to depict each piece as accurately as possible. However, please note that colors may vary slightly due to varying computer and monitor settings.

care instructions |

Please handle all handmade pottery with care to ensure a lifetime of use and enjoyment. Hand washing will prolong the life of your pieces and is strongly recommended, as dishwasher detergent can degrade glazes and hand painted details over time. If a dishwasher must be used, please use a mild, bleach-free detergent. Detergents with oxygen or citrus can dull the finish.

Handmade ceramics may change over time naturally with use. Slight changes in color or staining are natural and are reflective of the vessel being loved and used, and do not result in issues of food safety.
