| description |
Each lily of the valley flower was painted with at least 3-4 layers of thick underglaze to achieve a slightly "puffy" effect that can be felt when running your fingers across them. This was done with the intention and hope that every time you use this bowl to whisk your matcha, that you'd be able to feel the love poured into it.
This spouted matcha bowl was hand thrown on the wheel with high fire clay (porcelain and stoneware blend). The porcelain blend allows for a smoother surface and creates a more durable piece than stoneware alone. This bowl was then fired twice - once in a bisque fire and another in a glaze fire.
All illustrations and details were meticulously painted by hand with lots of love & nostalgia, and is one of its kind. <3

| care instructions |
Please handle all handmade pottery with care to ensure a lifetime of use and enjoyment. Hand washing will prolong the life of your pieces and is strongly recommended, as dishwasher detergent can degrade glazes and hand painted details over time. If a dishwasher must be used, please use a mild, bleach-free detergent. Detergents with oxygen or citrus can dull the finish.
Handmade ceramics may change over time naturally with use. Slight changes in color or staining are natural and are reflective of the vessel being loved and used, and do not result in issues of food safety.
